On June 5, 2024, the Environment Management Group of NTPC Barh organized a Prabhat Pheri and Tree Plantation for Ojas Nagar, NTPC Barh residents and Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) participants to mark World Environment Day. Sh Vijay Goel, ED Barh and Smt Sangeeta Goel, President, Mandakini Club also came along to grace the enthusiastic participation of everyone. These events, aimed to spreading awareness around "Green Environment," inspired employees of NTPC Barh and young girls about environmental conservation. The event saw massive participation displaying NTPC Barh's commitment to both environmental stewardship and the empowerment of young girls. It encouraged the girls to envision and advocate for a greener, healthier planet, aligning with the organization's mission to #PowerTheNation.
